In the Zimdancehall section, Mustard Seed has became one of the most celebrated album this year. It took Nutty O over 5 years to drop the album. The ZimHipHop welcomed Tanto Wavie with Sungura Museve. One of the well celebrated projects ZimHipHop projects of 2021. Around the time nominees were announced the community was not happy for Sungura Museve was not nominated. Tanto Wavie and ZimHipHop awards had an issue and the producer and songwriter chose to stick to his words. Many were disappointed, left with nothing but to support the wishes of the lad.

Multi award winning producer Rayobeats (real name Raymond Sibanda) finally dropped the awaited debut album, Heartfelt. The producer released his album on his own streaming site called, audiocus. Rayobeats has received many credits for his impeccable work on engineering Mustard Seed by Nutty O, Verified Milestone by ExQ and Bvudzi Jena by Tamy Moyo.

Moving on to Alternative/Urban, Tamy Moyo finally dropped the awaited album, Bvudzi Jena. Bvudzi Jena had a guest appearance by Soul Jah Love and Cal_Vin. The two legends who passed away recently. Urban Grooves legends ExQ, Ngonie Kambarami and Plaxedes Wenyika return to the music scene with new projects. It’s been fairly 2 years since ExQ dropped a proper project after Tseu Tseu. Verified Milestone has been received well and this can be supported by the album tours.

Ngonie Kambarami returned to make a point that he was still making music. On the day when he dropped his first video from the album before the project drops, the singer noted, ‘You thought l was done…’ The singer played a major role when recording Limitless since he was the one behind the engineering. Except a few songs.
