The premiere of South Africa’s hit series ‘Blood and Water’ second season brought joy not only to its fans in Zimbabwe but as well as artists whose music was featured on the series.
‘Blood and Water’ is a teen series that premiered last year on the 20th of May 2020. It focuses on a story of two girls that were sisters but were separated. Like the positive and negative polls, both the main acts attracted each other and kept in contact. Be it in good or bad situation.
Most of the soundtracks featured on the series were produced by Zimbabwe’s very own but based in the Republic of South Africa, Mr. Kamera. Mr. Kamera along with Frya are the main people behind most of the soundtracks including the theme song.
Frya has been making great moves as of late in the Republic of South Africa since she is the person behind SABC 1 theme song, Mzansi Magics and another Netflix series, Jiva. Frya’s work has been greatly appreciated.
“I feel extremely blessed about the Blood & Water placements and having had the opportunity to do the soundtrack which is a key piece of a show’s identity” Frya
