Dancehall Trap Hip Hop single ‘Paper Bag’ dropped as a surprise during the same time the new movement was been built or promoted in Jamaica. It faced a lot of critics but managed to win itself a ZimHipHop award at Star FM Listeners Choice Award. It was released on the 2nd of November 2018, produced by Oskid, shot and chopped by SOS media.
‘MuGarden’ with Gemma Griffiths foretold love story with visuals inspired by a biblical story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. This is the very same single that introduced Gemma Griffiths to the community. ‘MuGarden’ was well received and had 200K views in its first 24hrs and surpassed ‘Kunerima’ views by Jah Prayzah. Moreso, the first pre release single in promotion of the recent Accountability Music award winning album, ‘Njema’, ‘Ijipita’ was another controversial song by Winky D. Many thought it was a blow to the government since it dropped the same year Zimbabwe turned 40 years. But Winky D did not approve the interpretation and claimed that, it is just a mere social commentary song. It was released on the 22nd of March 2020, produced by Jusa Dementor, engineered by Oskid.
Then ‘Happy Again’ that was recently released on the 17th of December which has faced many critics from the community. It was produced by Oskid and Layaan Souljah, shot and chopped by Shawn Ray. ‘Happy Again’ has become the first video to gross 401K views in 24hrs.
